a front porch, fit for a midwestern queen.
call me allie calhoun from the notebook, but for as long as i've envisioned my future home, it's had a big ol' front porch. a place where i can sit and read, after the kids are tucked into bed each night. a place where i can enjoy a cup of hot tea and reflect with my husband, under a blanket of glistening stars.
i think i might be a farm girl at heart. gasp! what am i doing in nyc? (sometimes i truly don't know.)

That's a beautiful place! Would love to be there too...
Sometimes I feel like this too. What am I doing in NYC?
My husband and I just moved here for his job. Such an incredible experience, but if I could be honest, I'm not really a city girl. I'm excited to live here, but I grew up on a farm, and the longer I'm here, the more I long for a country home to raise my kids. Luckily, I don't have any yet. So, I'm going to enjoy the city while I'm here, but it won't be forever.
Well, you like the look and feel of the country.
