ho ho home.

so... i'm home! and let me tell you, it's a funny, warm, cozy, wonderful feeling. on monday, we finished packing the last of our things, i grabbed my last new york bagel of 2012, and hopped in a very stuffed car with dad. with all that's been going on in the world lately, and tragedy feeling closer to home than usual, this time with my family feels simply special. hearing dad's laugh or seeing mom's smile, well... it touches my soul in a whole new way. love from the deepest corner of my heart is with all affected by the connecticut tragedy last friday.

the holidays are definitely starting to heat up (or should i say freeze up?), and i'm loving the whole sleeping in, sitting-on-the-couch-for-a-much-deserved-three-hours, and wearing absolutely no makeup part of being home. we've also got a few exciting things to look forward to for this weekend, including: reuniting with best friend, a gingerbread making contest, and a festivus party.

i hope you're licking as many candy canes as possible and sending out your last minute wish lists to mr. c! and above all else, enjoying the company of those you love. oh, and definitely find a little mistletoe before it's too late ;)

enjoy the weekend!
